Our second visit and we decided to do the tasting menu, which includes 8 or 9 dishes to share over 4 courses. Service was attentive and helpful even though the restaurant was full. The food was delicious and reasonable. Highlights included the marrow toast, Brussels peanut slaw, albacore crudo, and braised shortribs.

We finally came back to the new place after 3 years. The service was perfect, very friendly and kind staff! I really liked the onion soup, escargots and narrow toasts. We took the day boat catch but it was over cooked unfortunately and I didn’t enjoy the beets that were to vinegary.

Everything was perfect. We had a great time. Delicious food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Would for sure dine here again. Also did not feel it was too overpriced. We did take advantage of their happy hour special. Highly recommend. We especially loved the crudo, and the salad was so yummy!!!

An absolute jewel of French style cooking, topped with exquisite service and wrapped in a charmingly decorated space. The tasting menu hits most of their best dishes, but the menu has many standouts. Coq au vin, duck cassoulet, outstanding fish, a ridiculously rich burger, regional and seasonal influences, great wines... a true standout in Santa Barbara.

Fabulous food - highly recommend the tasting menu. Service was both attentive and thoughtful. Beautiful space - feels formal but not imposingly so. Note: prices have gone up. Tasting menu was $65 just a few months ago. Now $72 (still worth it). Also they charge a credit card fee that was a surprise at the end of the meal. I would have felt better about it, if they had mentioned the fee somewhere on the menu (at the start of our delicious meal).

An absolutely delectable meal and enjoyable evening! Ruben the owner greeted us and personally oversaw many aspects of our dinner - we felt at home here! We had two vegetarians and two carnivores. We opened with a bottle of Penville- a central coast Mourvèdre Santa Clarita 2018 vintage which was fairly light and well balanced for our overall meal. For the meat lovers we got the duck confit and the filet mignon. The meat was succulent and perfectly cooked medium rare. The duck was slightly dry but the sausages and wine washed it down well For the veggie lovers, we ordered the Cauliflower soup and hand rolled ricotta tagliatelle pasta. They were taken aback with the rich flavor and tastiness of their dishes. Vegetarian dishes are usually an afterthought at most places, but they certainly felt like they were the highlight here No room or time for dessert but the meal was excellent, service was quick, very attentive and refreshingly on point.

Awesome restaurant with delicious food and cool decorations. I like their food are small portions with reasonable price, but are all made with fresh ingredients. It gives you the chance to try different dishes in one meal. I’d really love to visit it again.
